inspired by a national geographic feature i read in college in which photographer jim brandenburg challenged himself to take 90 photos in 90 days near his home around the boundary waters canoe area in minnesota. i'm no professional photographer, but dilettante that i am, the discipline, precision and raw beauty of brandenburg's project has always made me want to challenge myself in a similar way. wall street and the boundary waters have little in common, though both are fascinating ecosystems: one swarming with humanity and a global symbol of capitalism and finance; the other a vast wilderness area inhabited by bears, bobcats and loons.
since i have little photographic talent, i will take 3 photos per day and post 1 of them for 30 days. all in fun. all in peace. all for play. enjoy.
